The VOTRONIC Battery Protector 40 and Battery Protector 100 devices are connected between the supply battery and the load and are suitable for all lead-acid battery types (acid, gel, AGM) and makes.
They protect the battery against dangerous deep discharge as well as the loads and equipment against undervoltage and overvoltage and, controlled by an external switch, can also be used as a remote-controlled battery master switch.

- High switching current 100 A, briefly (approx. 10 sec.) overloadable up to 150 A; switchable to 12V / 24V vehicle electrical system
- Intelligent automatic switching threshold function always calculates the correct "empty" switch-off point based on stored battery characteristic curves for reliable protection of the battery with optimum capacity utilization, both for heavy loads (low switching threshold with shorter response time) and very small loads (e.g. "secret" power consumers with response times over days/months with high response threshold)
- Operation can also be optionally set with 3 fixed switch-off thresholds (manually)
- the higher setting values maintain the starting capability of emergency vehicles with only one battery circuit

- Pre-alarm with visual (LED) and acoustic (beeper, can be switched off) display and separate warning switching output (PNP, positive output 0.2 A) enables the user to take countermeasures in good time
