Victron Energy charging connection plug 16A/250Vac

The removable MP16-110 coupling socket from Victron Energy (MPN SHP301604000) is intended for use with the MP16-10 built-in appliance plug. The cable size to be used depends on the current.

• The electrical installation must be switched off during installation.
• Install the shore connection in accordance with the installation instructions.
• Use cables with the appropriate cross-sections.
• Connections and safety precautions must be carried out in accordance with local regulations.

Installation instructions

Proceed as follows to attach the plug to the cable:

• Unscrew the plug and slide the housing onto the cable. The grommet can be cut to size.
• Insulate the cable. Make sure that the cable ends are clean and not corroded. If necessary, cut the cable back until clean wire is visible. Do not solder the ends of the cables!
• Insert the cables into the correct color-coded terminal openings on the back of the inlet. Tighten the terminal screws to a torque. Make sure that there is no cable insulation under a terminal.
• Tighten the strain relief.
• Slide the housing over the plug. If necessary, apply a small amount of soap to the cable so that the plastic protection is easy to slide. Tighten the mounting screws firmly.
