How the fill level indicator for urine-diverting toilets works

The Trelino® urinometer uses afloatto measure the fill level of your canister. The mechanical float rises with the liquid in the urine canister, moving a plastic arrow that pushes through the urine outlet of the separating insert. Once the fill level has reached a critical level, the orange arrow is clearly visible.

The urinometer level indicator does not require batteries, is therefore not prone to errors and allows you to be as self-sufficient as possible. You can tell that it's time to empty the canister as soon as you lift the toilet lid - without a flashlight or external indicator outside the van, as is the case with alternative products.
Small bonus:The level indicator is pushed through the membrane of the urine canister lid. This gives the membrane additional support and prevents it from slipping - a simple but effective solution!
