Description

Two-person bench seat based on a modular seat frame with integrated three-point seat belts and Isofix child seat anchors, expandable with certified headrests. For improved seating comfort, the backrest can be mounted at a slight angle. (Headrests are included!)

For vehicles with a height difference relative to the driver’s cab or a raised platform, a 120mm riser kit is included

. The seat frame is installed in the vehicle using three aluminum rails and can therefore be easily removed if necessary. The aluminum rails are glued to the vehicle floor and additionally bolted in place at the rear.

To register the bench seat in the vehicle registration certificate, you will need the DTC certification. You can also find this DTC certification in our online store. (For vehicles with a curb weight of at least 2,500 kg)

A test report in accordance with ECE R14.07 (seat belt anchorages), ECE R17 (seat strength), and ECE R16 is included. It documents the testing conducted on the Ford Transit and indicates that the test results are applicable to other vehicles as well. (The results are also representative for other types of vehicles.) We recommend clarifying the installation requirements with the relevant STVA in advance.

: Fabian: I also installed this bench seat in my newest van. The DTC certification must be signed and stamped by an “appropriate” company. (Camper conversion companies, auto repair shops, etc.) So if you install it yourself, you’ll need a company to “approve” and stamp it—or, even better, have a trained professional with a business in the automotive industry install it. I installed this seat myself in a Ducato, including the riser. So if you’re installing it yourself and the floor has “ribs” (as in a Ducato, for example), we recommend about 10 tubes of Dekasyl MS-5 and a battery-powered caulking gun. (I did it with a regular caulking gun—it took three people about 30 minutes, and it was exhausting!)
