Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I prepare the surface for the self-adhesive layer?
For optimal adhesion, the sheet metal must be free of grease and dust. We recommend cleaning it with isopropyl alcohol or a special rubber cleaner.

Do I still need contact adhesive for the self-adhesive version?
Not for the surface. Only at the edges (cut surfaces) do we recommend using rubber tape or a thin layer of adhesive to ensure a seamless vapor barrier.

Does the material meet fire safety requirements?
Yes, Eurobatex Plus panels are classified as B-s3, d0 according to EN 13501-1. They are flame-retardant and therefore ideally suited for use in vehicle construction.
