Sunbrero thermal protection

The SUNBRERO ® is an innovative and highly effective sunshade made from a light and airy special thermal fiber. It keeps the interior of the car amazingly cool at just a few degrees above the outside temperature, as it keeps out 30 to 40 °C of the sweltering heat.

This is achieved by shielding the main areas of the roof, front and side windows.

Parked with SUNBRERO ®, your air conditioning system has to work less during the cooling phase. This has an immediate refreshing effect and saves fuel. SUNBRERO ® is made of a very tear-resistant, yet light and environmentally friendly PE microfiber.

The material has a unique insulating effect thanks to the triple combination of a high degree of reflection of the white material, plus refraction of light and high thermal conductivity.

Conventional materials (e.g. half garages) cannot physically provide this high level of shielding. SUNBRERO ® is superior here because the microfiber material remains cold, whereas the aluminum-colored materials heat up and transfer the heat to the car.

SUNBRERO ® is weatherproof, breathable, UV light-resistant and resistant to environmental dirt,

washable at 40 °C, chemically neutral, non-toxic, recyclable.

Bulky goods packages Parts with one side longer than 1 meter, e.g. Armaflex, solar, felt, aluminum profiles... 

General cargo: These are some batteries or large items that have to be shipped by freight forwarder. (Air conditioners...)

PRIO (selectable in the checkout at an additional cost) means that we pack these parcels first and hand over orders to the post office by 16:00 on the same day. These parcels are handed over to the post office with PRIO stickers and should arrive the next day. 

A pick-up in Winterthur can be selected at check-out. Please leave your email so that our system can let you know when it is ready for collection. (Usually happens within 24 hours)
