Separate mixer and wall outlet elbow
To allow the greatest possible flexibility during installation, the mixer tap and wall outlet elbow in this camper shower are designed separately. They can therefore be installed in different positions.
Shower head / shower head with volume regulator
The Queensize camper shower helps you save water. The shower head has a volume regulator so that you can finely adjust the amount of water not only at the mixer but also at the end of the hose/shower head. Of course, the water can also be turned completely on/off here (volume control from 0-100%). With a little practice, this is also very easy to do with one hand.
Perfect for an additional outdoor shower
The shower hose can be easily disconnected from the wall outlet using a quick-release coupling and can therefore be stored in the felt bag supplied, e.g. for the journey, to avoid rubbing against the shower wall all the time. The felt bag keeps the hose and shower spray rattle-proof in your camper! The quick-release coupling on the wall outlet closes automatically after being disconnected (integrated water stop). On the hose side, the coupling is open so that the water can be easily drained from the hose
Two spray types selectable
For different preferences, you can choose between two different spray types by turning the aerator on the shower head.
Installing the camper shower
Mixer
The mixer is mounted through a hole circle of at least 34 mm and secured against turning from behind with a nut/washer and flat gasket. An O-ring is also fitted on the inside of the rosette to seal against the shower wall.
The mixer is supplied with hot and cold water via a 30 cm long flexible hose with a 10 mm hose nozzle at the end. The outlet for the mixed water is also connected to a flexible hose with a 10 mm hose nozzle. If you have to "bend" the hose by 90 degrees directly behind the mixer, you need at least 90mm so that the hose does not kink, measured from the front of the shower wall.
90° wall outlet
The 90° wall outlet is installed through a min. 21 mm bolt circle (again with nut/washer/flat gasket and O-ring on the inside). A flexible hose is also screwed into the back of the wall outlet: The connection to the mixer is therefore made with a 10 mm hose, giving you maximum flexibility in the installation position and the distance between the mixer and outlet.
If you also have to "bend" the hose by 90 degrees directly behind the outlet, you need at least 55 mm so that the hose does not kink, measured from the front of the shower wall.
The quick coupling to the hose has a shut-off function, i.e. it closes when it is not in use. automatically when the hose is disconnected. The hose has a matching counterpart and is 2 m long.
INSTALLATION NOTE:You will find the thread for screwing the flexible hose into the wall outlet (position 2 on the corresponding product image above) on the INSIDE of the outlet. Simply insert the connection hose (position 6) into the hole, push it in and turn it at the same time. Screw in the hose until resistance is felt and stop before it threatens to kink/twist.
The internal thread means that all non-flexible parts of the connection hose disappear into the wall outlet, which saves an enormous amount of space.
Wall thicknesses:
- Mixer up to max. 25mm
- 90° wall outlet up to max. 15mm
Further important information:
All connections on the mixer and wall outlet have the standard household thread M10x1. The standard "armored hoses" fit here.
The shower holder for the shower head is also made of stainless steel and has a ball joint. It has two mounting holes and is mounted with wood screws, for example (screws not included), so it can be positioned as required.
Recommendation: Use the shower set with a pump with at least 1.5 bar. A maximum system pressure of 4 bar applies to all Queensize Camper products.
Special frost protection measures for the Queensize Camper showers: To make the system winter-proof and prevent frost damage, all pipes and components must be completely drained. Ideally, they should be blown out in the direction of the pump. The cartridge must first be opened and set to the center position, the hose must be connected and the volume regulator on the shower fully opened, then the water lines must be blown through from the pump side. Then disconnect the hose and let the water run out. Leave the cartridge open in the middle position during winter storage.
