This pot magnet has a thicker steel pot and therefore a higher adhesive force. It can be attached with a countersunk screw.
The following screws fit, for example:
- Countersunk wood screw with slot: DIN 97 (3 mm)
- Countersunk screws with cross recess (machine screw): ISO 7046-2 M3 (3 mm)
- Countersunk screws with Torx/hexalobular socket (machine screw): ISO 14581 M3 (3 mm)
- Countersunk screws with hexagon socket (machine screw): ISO 10642 M3 (3 mm)
Please note: The full adhesive force is achieved when the ferromagnetic counterpart is smooth and sufficiently thick and when the pot magnet is in direct contact with the entire surface. Pot magnets lose a lot of adhesive force from a distance of half a millimeter to the ferromagnetic surface. This property is more pronounced with pot magnets than with other ferrite magnets and neodymium magnets.
