Katadyn BeFree Filter AC 1.0 L, Water Filter

The BeFree Filter AC 1.0 L is a lightweight water filtration system consisting of a flexible, soft 1-liter bottle and a filter that screws directly onto the bottle. This allows you to drink the filtered water straight from the bottle, and thanks to the convenient flip cap, it’s reliably leak-proof. The flexible SoftFlask also makes filtering easier, as it can be easily squeezed, causing the water to flow evenly and smoothly through the filter. The primary filter is a hollow-fiber filter that removes bacteria, microplastics, and protozoa. It is supplemented by an additional activated carbon cartridge, which can be added or omitted as needed. This activated carbon filter improves the taste of the water and is particularly effective against chlorine. To clean it, the hollow-fiber filter is swished under running water and, depending on water quality, can filter up to 1,000 liters of water. The activated carbon filter, which has a shorter lifespan, is easy to replace. The combination of a hollow-fiber filter and an activated carbon filter makes the BeFree Filter AC 1.0 L a powerful water filter that can be used both outdoors and while traveling around the world.
