The MultiPlus-II combines the functions of the MultiPlus and the MultiGrid.
It offers all the functions of the MultiPlus and also has an external current sensor option, which extends the function of the PowerControl and PowerAssist to 50 A and 100 A respectively.
It also offers all the functions of the MultiGrid with the built-in anti-islanding function and a growing list of countries in which it is approved.
PowerControl and PowerAssist - increasing grid or generator power
A maximum generator or grid current can be set. The Multi then takes account of other connected AC consumers and only uses the current that is still "left over" to charge the battery. This prevents the generator or mains connection from being overloaded (PowerControl function).
The PowerAssist function adds a new dimension to the PowerControl principle. Load peaks often only occur for a limited period of time. In such cases, the Multi immediately compensates for insufficient generator, shore power or mains power with energy from the battery. If the load is reduced, i.e. consumers are switched off, the available energy can then be used to charge the batteries again.
ESS: Energy storage systems
The MultiPlus can be used with non-grid-connected and grid-connected PV systems as well as with other alternative energy systems.
Several system configurations are possible. For more information, please refer to the ESS design and configuration manual.
On-site monitoring and control
Several options are available: Battery monitor, Digital Multi Control panel, Color Control panel, Bluetooth (Venus GX or Color Control panel required), laptop or computer.
Remote configuration and monitoring
Install a Venus GX or Color Control panel to connect to the Internet.
Data can be stored and viewed for free on our VRM (Victron Remote Management) website.
When systems are connected to Ethernet, they can be accessed remotely and settings can be changed.
