This kit fits the Ford Nugget models with Westfalia pop-up roof.

Sheet metal:

The aluminum mounting plate was designed by waerchzueg.ch and is produced in Switzerland.
It has slotted holes to compensate for any tolerances during installation. It also has several cable tie attachment points.
The surface is anodized.

MPPT charge controller with Bluetooth:

SMARTSOLAR 75/15 CHARGE CONTROLLER WITH INTEGRATED BLUETOOTH

The Smartsolar 75/15 charge controller from Victron Energy is an MPPT solar charge controller

with a maximum charging current of 15 amps for charging 12 volt and 24 volt batteries.

In the Unlike the Bluesolar 75/15, the Smart version has integrated Bluetooth,

which eliminates the need to purchase a Bluetooth dongle.
The integrated Bluetooth in the SmartSolar series is the wireless solution for setting up,

monitoring and updating the controller using Apple and Android smartphones,

tablets or other devices.

ULTRA-FAST MAXIMUM POWER POINT TRACKING

Especially under cloudy skies, when the light intensity is constantly changing,

an extremely fast MPPT controller improves the energy yield by up to 30 % compared to PWM charging controllers

and by up to 10 % compared to slower MPPT controllers.

INTELLIGENT LOAD OUTPUT

Deep discharging of the battery can be prevented by connecting 12/24 volt end consumers

are connected to the load output.

The load output disconnects the 12/24 volts when the battery has been discharged to a

discharged to a predefined voltage value.

The load output is short-circuit proof.

BATTERY LIFE: INTELLIGENT BATTERY MANAGEMENT

If the solar charge controller is not able to charge the battery to its full capacity within one day, the status of the battery constantly switches between

This operating mode (no regular full charging)

damages a lead-acid battery within a few weeks or months.
The Battery Life algorithm monitors the state of charge of the battery and, if necessary, raises the threshold for disconnecting the battery day by day.

to charge the battery to almost 100%.

From this point, the threshold for disconnecting the load is modulated,

so that charging to almost 100% is achieved approximately once a week.
