Our 3mm felt with high wool content "Made in Italy"
Wool, one of the natural fibers par excellence, has been valued since ancient times for its unique properties, which make it an irreplaceable material. Wool is hygroscopic (it absorbs water and moisture easily) and then releases it again. Wool has a high insulating power, keeps the temperature constant, is naturally antibacterial, elastic, sound-absorbing and flame-retardant.
Why wool?
Wool is a unique natural material that has numerous positive properties for the living space. It regulates humidity by absorbing up to 30% of its own weight in moisture without feeling damp or clammy. Wool therefore contributes to a balanced and pleasant indoor climate.
Wool also has a temperature-regulating and insulating effect: it retains heat when it is cool and at the same time ensures a balanced climate when temperatures rise. This natural heat regulation makes it a versatile material for a wide range of applications.
Wool is also aesthetically pleasing. With its natural feel and structure, it gives rooms a warm, cozy and high-quality atmosphere.
Last but not least, wool has remarkable antibacterial properties. It has a natural odour-neutralizing effect and thus contributes to a hygienic environment - without any chemical additives.

The felt must not be sent folded by the manufacturer.
We have to roll it!
In our workshop we process the felt with Prime Fix power spray adhesive.
Both the felt and the previously thoroughly cleaned surface are sprayed with the spray adhesive.

With our TWEED natural wool 3mm, we can insulate and embellish the interior of vehicles. Thanks to its special elasticity, even curves such as wheel arches are no problem. 3D elements and other customizations are also no problem.

Shipping / storage:
In contrast to other European suppliers, we ship our TWEED natural wool as a roll (1.5m wide max. 9m long) and not folded in a package. This avoids the felt being stretched beforehand and there are no unsightly stripes in the felt.
