Electric fold-down bed universal size - Without frame and without slatted frame

Fabian: The original instructions are confusing, so I unpacked one and set it up completely. A brilliant product with terrible instructions.  (The included installation instructions are very good.) The width and length of the bed can actually be customized; the straps are long enough to hang a 160-cm bed and raise and lower it 1.5 meters. The only issue is that the linear side guides, which stabilize the bed as it moves up and down, are only 95 cm long. With a little ingenuity, however, they can be extended. The motor is fast and powerful. Two adjustment screws allow you to set the upper “end” and the lower “end”—that is, where the bed should automatically stop at the top and bottom. Very easy installation! It doesn’t matter whether the bed is raised from the long side or the short side. You can install it either way. The only thing you’ll need to build yourself is the bed frame, which, in my opinion, is actually an advantage. It doesn’t matter whether the bed frame is rectangular or has corners, as shown in the photos.  A guide rail for cable routing is also included. (The cables have to move up and down with the bed, since the motor is installed under the bed.) But it can really be installed neatly and simply.  The motor can lift and hold 60 kg. So the bed frame, mattress, and lift-up bed should not weigh more than 60 kg. It comes with two “strap tabs” that allow you to secure the bed at a height of your choosing. So you use the motor to raise the bed to that position and then click it into place; these straps can hold a combined weight of 400 kg. You can also lower the bed and “rest” it on a wooden structure. Since the motor is very flat, you can create a really slim bed frame. The display comes with a key so that children (or anyone else) can’t mess with it. For the electric version, you have to cut off a plug and then connect it to your power supply using, for example, Wago terminals. But this is explained very clearly in the included instructions. (Yes, it actually says to cut off the plug, haha.) I think it’s a brilliant product; it took the two of us about an hour for the initial installation. (Not installed in the camper—just on a stand.) The four straps are secured with screws using the included mounts. It also comes with a... moderately attractive... plastic cover.
