The FreshJet from Dometic is one of the smallest air conditioning systems on the market. Different versions are available for different vehicle sizes, and even the most powerful models have the same ultra-compact design. The space-saving design leaves enough room on the roof for solar panels, a satellite dish or even a second FreshJet, e.g. if you want to have separately air-conditioned areas. In 2011, NASA was looking for a way to equip its "Lunar Electric Rover" with an air conditioning system. It decided to seek external expertise and contacted numerous manufacturers.
