DIY Eurobox Separating Toilet
Practical, compact, and ready to use right away when nature calls—that’s the DIY Eurobox Separating Toilet. Thanks to its design, this dry separation toilet can be combined with other Euroboxes and easily integrated into existing campervan systems. By stacking it on top of another Eurobox, you can raise the seat height and ensure a personalized, comfortable seating experience.
Unlike other Eurobox toilets, our DIY Eurobox Separating Toilet features a wooden lid that gives this portable restroom a unique look. This is accentuated by a charming cord handle made of paracord. In addition to its aesthetic appeal, the wooden lid stands out for its maximum load-bearing capacity, allowing the DIY Eurobox separation toilet to also be used as a stool. Since the lid is untreated, you can customize it to your liking. Linseed oil, wood stains, or varnishes are suitable for protecting it from moisture. Tip: You can create unique designs using pyrography.
The DIY Eurobox composting toilet comes with a small accessory box that is placed under the solids bucket. Here you’ll find space for everything you need for outdoor use, such as toilet paper, litter, or a spray bottle with acetic acid for cleaning the toilet.
Not only does the DIY Eurobox Separating Toilet look great on the outside, but its inner features are impressive as well. In addition to a spacious 5-liter urine canister and a 7-liter solid waste container, the dry separation toilet features a high-quality ABS separation insert with a surface as smooth as ceramic that’s very easy to clean. The front part of the insert is extra deep, preventing urine from spilling over or splashing—even with a strong midstream stream.
Assembly
As the name of the DIY Eurobox separation toilet suggests, you’ll need to do a little DIY work before your very first use. The effort is limited to attaching the cord as a handle and securing four mounting brackets beneath the separation insert. Rest assured, no technical expertise is required. :) Tip: If you’d like, you can drill a hole in the body to integrate a DIY fill-level indicator into your Eurobox Separating Toilet. You’ll find more information on this in our Eurobox Separating Toilet user manual.
