Comet Diaphragm Pressure Switch, 1 bar, with Check Valve – for 10 mm Hose

With this diaphragm pressure switch, you can turn a standard submersible pump (requiring more than 1 bar) into an automatic pump. The switch is installed in the pressure line; it turns the pump on when water is drawn and turns it off again at 1 bar. This allows you to operate multiple faucets without having to control each one electrically.

How it works in practice

• Valve closed, line full → Pressure builds up; at 1 bar, the pump shuts off
• Open the valve → Water flows out, pressure drops → Pump restarts
• The switch therefore cycles on and off continuously during operation; this is normal
  

Important

• The pump must generate a delivery pressure of at least 1 bar; otherwise, it will never shut off and will run continuously!
