The Alb Filter in the Fusion version combines two filtration stages into one compact, reliable system. Depending on how the filtration stages are configured, you can enhance or fully utilize all the benefits of the individual Alb filter cartridges.

1st Filtration Stage – Active

• For refreshing drinking water. Inside the cartridge is a specially purified activated carbon core capable of filtering out chlorine, organic contaminants, various pharmaceutical residues, light hydrocarbons, solvents, pesticides, flavors, and fine particles (rust, limescale flakes, sand). Additionally, bland and chlorine-related off-flavors in the water are effectively neutralized.

How long does the cartridge last?

• Depending on water quality, a filter cartridge lasts up to six months in accordance with DIN 1988.

2ndFilter Stage – Nano:

• Absolute germ barrier. The Nano filter cartridge provides effective protection against harmful microorganisms in drinking water. Inside are ultra-thin hollow-fiber membranes with a pore size of less than 0.1 µm. Not even germs and bacteria can pass through these membranes. For comparison: E. coli bacteria are about 5 µm long.
