Lithium batteries can only be charged above 0-5° degrees core temperature.
The batteries can be discharged down to a core temperature of -20°.
This battery has a built-in heater and, if the core temperature is too cold, uses the charging current to heat itself so that charging can be resumed. We recommend these batteries if you are an ambitious winter camper and / or if you "winterize" your camper in Switzerland above 1500 m above sea level.
