Application examples: Solar island systems, caravan, motorhome, boat, car, etc.
Reliably switches between 230V AC mains and voltage transformer/inverter.
Automatically detects a second 230V AC voltage. Priority switching for inverter or 230V AC mains.
Maximum switching capacity 12A at 230V
Protected against overload, short circuit and reverse feed.
If a second (external) 230V AC voltage is present, the device disconnects the voltage transformer / inverter from the internal mains.
If the second 230V AC voltage is disconnected again, the device automatically reconnects the voltage transformer / inverter.
The built-in relays ensure precise switching and protect your inverter from external voltage.
Automatic mains switching / priority switching 230 V max. 2500 W --- Input A: lower priority --- Input B: higher priority
Example 1 Mains power from the campsite
Shore power is connected to this switching station on the input side (input B) and the inverter is connected to (input A).
On the output side, the changeover relay is connected to the AV mains supply of your motorhome.
If 230 volts is available from the mains (e.g. from the campsite), it is forwarded to the vehicle.
If this no longer happens, the device switches to the other input connection (voltage converter).
As soon as mains power is connected to input B again, the module switches back to input B and disconnects input A immediately.
Example 2 Priority consumption of solar power from the battery
PV power with storage battery 12V to 230V connected through the voltage converter to connection B, connect mains power (backup power) to connection A.
As long as the voltage transformer is supplying power, this is passed on to the output of the switching station.
If the voltage transformer detects a low battery voltage, it switches off and the switching station immediately switches to mains input A.
The 230V loads are then automatically supplied from the mains.
